Alameda County Library

We are in the process of developing a phased approach to reopening that ensures the health and safety of our communities and staff. In doing so, we are following the best available advice from our county, state, and national health officials as well as the American Library Association. We plan to share our reopening plan next month, and our website will be updated with the details of the plan. Read more

Book Match: Nissa N.

Nissa N.

Nissa’s reading tastes run from nonfiction adventures and history to historical fiction, mystery, and what she likes to call “slice of life” fiction.  The occasional gothic novel or natural history keeps life interesting!  A fan of tales both old and new, Nissa likes nothing better than diving into a book featuring strong, central characters and a narrative that keeps the pages turning. If the adventure is true or has a basis in fact, so much the better.  Many of her recommended reads are available in audio as well as print and electronic formats.

Ask Nissa what to read.
