Archimedes is a community space at the Fremont Main Library for you to make stuff. Some people might call that a makerspace or an innovation space: all we want is for you to come in with an idea of something you’d like to make and we will try to help you make it.
Come in, hang out, mess around, tinker, and geek out.
Nope! We're completely free. All we ask is that you have an Alameda County Library card.
A library card with Alameda County Library! You will also need to sign a waiver. Bringing children? Please check out the Library's Child Safety policy.
We're holding our first open hours on Tuesday, November 19th from 4PM to 6PM. We are aiming to have regular all-ages open hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will be open year-round.
We are on the second floor of the Fremont Main Library, at 2400 Stevenson Blvd, Fremont 94538. Turn right after you come up the stairs.
