Alameda County Library

We are in the process of developing a phased approach to reopening that ensures the health and safety of our communities and staff. In doing so, we are following the best available advice from our county, state, and national health officials as well as the American Library Association. We plan to share our reopening plan next month, and our website will be updated with the details of the plan. Read more

Current Technical Issues

NEW YORK TIMES ONLINE: We are currently experiencing difficulty with passes for the New York Times.  The vendor has been notified and the issue will be corrected shortly.  Thank you for your continued patience!

SIMPLYE/RBDIGITAL: There is currently an issue with RBDigital audiobooks on SimplyE – the problem results in users not being able to checkout/download/return RBDigital eAudiobooks. This problem is intermittent and doesn’t affect all library cardholders. SimplyE and RBdigital are working together to solve the problem.  Thanks so much for your understanding!
