Free Summer Meals for Kids & Teens: June 15 - August 20  

Alameda County Library is proud to offer free healthy grab & go meals for children and teens this summer at the San Lorenzo Library from June 15 – August 20. Meals will be provided on a first come, first served basis. No sign ups, application, income verification, or identification are needed.

While stopping by the San Lorenzo Library to pick up your grab & go meals, we’ll also be providing free take-home activities for a fun-filled summer. Don’t forget to pick up your Kind, Connected Summer gameboard. Or download the gameboard from our website.      

Who Can Participate?

Nutritious grab and go meals are provided for:  

  • Anyone 18 years and under
  • Caregivers, children need not be present   

Location and Schedule


  • Monday, June 15 - August 20. Every Monday through Thursday from 12 pm – 1pm.


Lunch at the Library is a project of the California Library Association, supported by the California State Library with funds from the State of California. We’re happy to bring you Lunch at the Library in partnership with the Hayward Unified School District, through the USDA Summer Food Service Program.
